Poor fooding/catering service is one major bloat in the name of otherwise better services of howrah / BCT raj . Is it high time now that meals should be made optional in all rajdhani/ shatabdi trains, thus saving the catering charges.
No-Because the pricing is already included in the fair. Then if it is kept optional how will the ticket price be justified. Its like not taking what we have paid already for.

If catering charges are also optional then great, i think many will opt out of the railway food, given the sub standard quality.

I think this is really a laid back attitude costing crores of rupees. Harmonics is a common term, should have been tested in the first place. End of the day public has to pay for the loss and delay through expensive tickets.

Also, if you want to catch a Bus, you can walk down to the left-hand side platform end, cycle rickshaws take you to the main highway, where all the buses stop, no need to go all the way to Bus Depot, which is pretty far.

Very bad. No Pantry. Try to avoid buying anything as vendors charging everything above mrp. Amul chaas Rs.12 is sold for 25. Water Rs.15 sold for 20. Many items have been sold with mrp blackened or removed.
