The Northeast Railway has expanded its special train services this year, with routes originating from Gorakhpur Junction to destinations like Mahbubnagar, Delhi, Amritsar, Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Tatanagar, Sealdah, Vadodara, and Dahanu Road. Additional routes include: Chhapra to Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar, Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan, Vadodara, Udhana, and Durg; Lalkuan to Howrah and Rajkot; Tanakpur to Daurai; Mau to Baroda and Delhi; Banaras to Mumbai; Barhani to Daurai; Ballia to Delhi; and Ghazipur City to Udhana. Over two months, these special trains will complete a total of 6,556 trips, an increase compared to the 4,429 trips by festival special trains last year. The aim is to facilitate the travel needs of millions of passengers during the festive season.
