older adults, women, and children. Despite a daily footfall of 1500-1600 passengers, the absence of halts for several important long-distance trains causes inconvenience to travelers, particularly pilgrims arriving from various cities across India. Poddar suggested that three pairs of major trains headed to Rajasthan, namely 12323/12324 Howrah-Barmer-Howrah Express, 12371/12372 Howrah-Bikaner-Howrah Express, and 12496/12495 Kolkata-Bikaner-Kolkata Pratap Express, be stopped at Parasnath station to alleviate the issue. He believes that halting these trains at Parasnath will significantly benefit Jain pilgrims from across the country by making their journey to the spiritual site of Shri Sammed Shikharji Madhuban more convenient.

Purana Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar ne Rail Mantri ko letter likh ke Jain dharmaloing ke liye Parasnath station pe lambi doori ki pramukh trains ke thaharav ki jarurat batayi hai. Unhone kaha ki Madhuban (Parasnath) me Jain samaj ke vishv prasidd tirth sthal Shri Sammed Shikharji ke darshan ke liye...

Unhone kaha ki is mahatvpurn station pe pratikdin lagabhag 1500 se 1600 yatriyon ka aavagaman hota hai, lekin lambi doori ki kuchh mahatvpurn trains ka thaharav nahin hone ke karan Parasnath ke sath-sath yaha desh ke vibhinn shaharon se aane wala yatri visheshakr darshanarthiyon ko kathinaaiyaan hoti hain. Poddar ne sujhav diya ki Rajasthan jaane wali teen jodi pramukh trains jisme train san0 12323/12324 Howrah-Barmer-Howrah Express, train san 12371/12372 Howrah-Bikaner-Howrah Express aur train san 12496/12495 Kolkata-Bikaner-Kolkata Pratap Express ka thaharav Parasnath station pe karne se yaha aane wala yatriyon ki samasya ka samadhan kaafi had tak sambhav hai. Unhone kaha ki aatmik Jain dharmaloing ke Shri Sammed Shikharji Madhuban ki yatra sugam banane ke liye in trains ka thaharav Parasnath station pe karne se desh bhar ke Jain samaj ke tirthayatri laabhwanvit honge.
