Under UPS, employees will receive a pension equivalent to half their average salary for the last 12 months after completing 25 years of service, along with a cost of living allowance. The scheme also offers a minimum pension of ₹10,000 after 10 years of service, with a proportionate increase for longer service periods. In case of death, the family receives 60% of the deceased's pension. Employees contribute 10% to the scheme, while the government contributes 18.5%. Employees have the freedom to choose between NPS and UPS.

ke baad last 12 mahino ki average salary ka aadhha pension aur mahangai raahat bhatta milega. 10 saal ki service ke baad, 10,000 rupee ka minimum pension milega, aur service ki duration ke hisaab se woh badhta rahega. Agar employee ki death ho jati hai, to unke family ko unki original pension ka 60% family pension ke roop mein milega. Employees 10% contribute karenge, aur government 18.5% contribute karegi. Employees ke paas NPS aur UPS mein se koi ek scheme choose karne ka option hai.
