Train services between Bengaluru and Mangaluru have resumed after a landslide caused by heavy rains in Sakleshpur in the Western Ghats disrupted the tracks on July 26th. Express (train number 16575), successfully traversed the track on August 8th, marking the resumption of passenger services. However, trains between Edakumeri and Kadagaravalli will run at a reduced speed of 15 km/h until further notice. Night trains from Bengaluru and Vijayapura started on Wednesday, August 8th, while services from Karwar and Mangaluru Junction began on Friday, August 9th.

Lekin, Edakumeri aur Kadagaravalli ke beech ki trains 15 km/h ki speed pe chaliengi, jab tak aage ka order na aaye. Bengaluru aur Vijayapura se raat ki trains Wednesday, 8 August se start hui, aur Karwar aur Mangaluru Junction se services Friday, 9 August se start hui.
