The ECRKU Chopan One branch secretary, Umesh Kumar Singh, informed that the ECRKU had already submitted a demand letter and urged the postponement of the Andaman tour program. Senior Divisional Personnel Officer informed Mohd. Ziauddin in a special meeting that the Divisional Railway Manager had agreed to postpone this tour program at the union's request. Further, to finalize the 10% induction quota panel for track maintainer department transfers, the necessary administrative approvals were sent to the headquarters in Hajipur on the second day of the talks. In the meeting, a process will be initiated to re-evaluate the annual report of employees in the signal department who haven't received financial upgrades, ensuring their upgradation. A comprehensive survey will be conducted to address water scarcity at stations. An RO and chiller plant will be installed at the Divisional Railway Manager's office building. Proposals for renovating all recreation clubs and community buildings in the division will be drafted. Financial assistance from the divisional employee welfare fund has been approved for employees suffering from long-term illnesses. Progress is being made in other significant matters, including the transfer of the train lining department back to the electrical general from the mechanical department, the upgrading process of supervisors in all departments (operations, commerce, engineering, etc.), and prioritizing the execution of divisional transfer applications. The administration will provide the union officials with information regarding these matters in the upcoming PNM meeting.
