India's first semi-high speed Vande Bharat sleeper version train is set to launch on the Howrah-Delhi and Mumbai rail routes on March 24th, 2024. these trains on the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani routes. The new sleeper version Vande Bharat trains will feature 16 coaches, accommodating over 1000 passengers on journeys exceeding 1000 kilometers. The trains are equipped with modern amenities, including KAVACH safety system, and are expected to offer a more comfortable experience than Rajdhani Express. The railway aims to manufacture 400 sleeper version Vande Bharat trains in collaboration with technology partners, utilizing various technologies.
