CBE BNC VB is not yielding desired patronage levels which may be due to :-
1. Inconvenient Timings
2. Slow TT

Presence of other trains.

As such trued to create a TT extending this VB till Guruvayur which will not only ensure occupancy but also provide a convenient time for CBE pax.

IMO, better the route can be swapped between Uday and VB. Uday can maintain its present running time easily via DPJ HSRA, and it will fetch better patronage also enroute, as it already has. VB at the other end, can be made to run via ED SA TPT BWT KJM, making it faster than it is actually, and if it takes 5 - 5.5 hrs max, it will be a good deal for sure, and the patronage also improves a lot for vande bharat, being a faster option.

Well.. sooner or later GUV will have to maintain VB sets....

For now, this VB can run for 5 days a week between GUV and BNC and weekly between CBE BNC till PM facility is created at GUV.

Yes that too should be ensured. A slot later than the slot of CBE MAS ICE could be chosen, after that, till the departure of mayiladuthurai JS, slot is available I believe.
