The construction of a bridge near Anpara is stalled due to court orders regarding land acquisition for displaced people, hindering the doubling of the 30 km railway line between Shaktinagar and Karaila. The Anpara Road station, only five kilometers from the original Anpara station, acts as a temporary halt to enable the doubling of the remaining five km and facilitate the movement of coal rakes. Currently, three to four coal rakes face delays due to the incomplete doubling project, and this temporary station will allow for increased train movements.
