From Lucknow, 130 buses will be operating daily to Ayodhya, with one bus departing every 20 minutes from Alam Bagh, Charbagh, Kaiserbagh, and Awadh bus stations. The number of buses operating from Lucknow to Gorakhpur via Ayodhya and Basti has been increased from 80 to 130 daily. Heavy vehicles are also permitted to travel from Saturday onwards. This includes vehicles entering Lucknow from Sitapur Road, Kanpur Road, Agra Expressway, and Hardoi Road. For the convenience of pilgrims, the railways are launching an 'Astha' special train from January 29th, running between New Delhi and Ayodhya Cantt via Lucknow. Train number 04012, the 'Astha Special', will depart from New Delhi at 11:55 PM and arrive in Charbagh at 10:05 AM and Ayodhya at 12:55 PM. The return journey will depart from Ayodhya Cantt at 9:50 PM and arrive in Charbagh at 12:50 AM and New Delhi at 10:45 AM. The train will also operate on February 2nd and 6th.
