Still will be flop why they wasting our tax paying money ,sure double decker will be cancelled don't worry all trains which runing vb will exist and other shatabdi train slowly they will close after election

I think this VB will be extended upto ERS from CBE, once MPS of 110Km/hr is acheived/upgraded b/w Shoranur and Ernakulam Jn. That's the only thing stopping them from introducing it as ERS-SBC VB and that's why IR too allotted it to SR instead of SWR planning Mrng Dep from ERS, I guess.

In shatabdi matter - Like you said, some shatabdi's which are having poor occupancy records will fade away in future for sure. Railways already announced, VB as a replacement for Shatabdi's and Rajdhani's.

If starting from CBE, I feel it's complete useless cause u already have the UDAY train which is sort of "premium" and ideally should start from SBC so that u have 2 premium trains starting from one end each.... one in the morning from CBE and the other from SBC.... not like having 2 premium from one end and nothing from the other end..... (as I had mentioned in my earlier blogs and u know it)...
Coming to the 1st para, once they make it 110kmph, possibility for ERS SBC.... let's wait and see...👍👍
