Looks like NR is gonna have 4 trains with 16 carriages of Vande Bharats up and running in the next couple of months from New Delhi. These are the routes they'll go: 1) New Delhi to Amritsar 2) New Delhi to Ayodha 3) Varanasi to New Delhi (reverse VB) 4) Katra to New Delhi (reverse VB) They already have 2 trains, and 2 more are in the works. Once that's done, I reckon they'll have enough sitting class VBs from NDLS. After that, they might introduce a sleeper version for long-distance travel.

2 rakes already received, 2 in pipeline. I think that will complete quota for sitting class VBs from NDLS, post that we may see sleeper version from NDLS for long distance.
