And many trains have similar price of 3e economy and 3ac for example I searched today train between Bikaner and Sri Ganganagar and in kota/ jlwc- sgnr exp price of 3 ac and 3e is same 555 rupees then why will people prefer 3e economy when they can get more comfort and relief in 3ac than 3e economy in similar price. So no one will prefer 3e economy if price of 3ac and 3e economy will be same and if price of 3e economy and sleeper will be either same or just 100 or 200 rupees more then railways can easily close sleeper class permanently make 3e Class available for everyone and people will also start preferring 3e economy instead of sleeper.
Actually trains are supposed to use for long distance travel so minimum fare charged for 300km for travel below then 300km.
500 sl 1300 3ac fare same soure and destination means 3E should be around 900-1000 appx, not near 1200 rs

Railway ko economy class ka use sahi tarike se karna tha pehle se hi. Lekin kya Kiya inhone just 50-60 rupees ka difference I don't know what railway officials think before implementing such absurd ticket prices. Hope future mai sleeper class ko economy class replace kare and economy class ka fare 200-300 rupees jyada rakhe sleeper se so that people can easily shift in economy class and railway can run full AC trains for all class of peoples.
Officials did nothing but reduced fare by ~8% since capacity has increased by ~8%, simple logic no plan to give additional concession to public. However I do agree that the fare should be in line with the Garib Rath fares. 3E can't be more expensive than Garib Rath fares. Alternatively they should increase the fare of Garib Rath trains. Anyways there are very limited trains in this category
