Should I consider is cancelled since it was a online IRCTC ticket?

I am totally shocked if it is still waitlist and is about to be cancelled? WL1,2 couldn't confirm? How?

Out of 24/22 seats available, only 14 are made available to public when reservation window opens? Where does the remaining 8/10 goes, under which quota? How to get seats in that quota?

85/85 IR members predicted confirmed? and its a shocker?

Please some one suggest do I need to proceeed to railway station for journey/cancellation or will it get auto cancellation?

Totally in shocked mind and sitting with packed suitcases completly blank not able to think what to do.

Could someone guide around? Was looking forward to first time 1AC travel as a gift to wife.
