Can confirmed seat number be changed by Indian railways on partial cancellation of ticket?

cancelled two passanger out of 6 originally booked. Although the passanger name was correctly cancelled but the seats of passanger were exchanged.

Passanger 1 travelling has lower birth now, earlier it was side lower.

Passanger 2 non travelling shows cancelled with side lower but earlier it was lower birth originally.

Can that happen, what do in such case.

Should I consider is cancelled since it was a online IRCTC ticket?

I am totally shocked if it is still waitlist and is about to be cancelled? WL1,2 couldn't confirm? How?

Out of 24/22 seats available, only 14 are made available to public when reservation window opens? Where does the remaining 8/10 goes, under which quota? How to get seats in that quota?

Why does 22305/22306 (22305/SMVT Bengaluru - Jasidih Weekly SF Express) run with superfast name (apart from train nuber)?

Asking because the time taken by this train to reach from Bangalore to JSME is 38h 55m which is more compared to Anga Express (runs without superfast tag). Anga time taken from bangalore to Jsme is 38h 35m.

it just to earn extra charges in form of superfast charges? Apart from train number any other reason for it. If anyone knows throw some light.

For mass public please also share when does a train is called superfast in terms of train number and speed/distance etc?
