It's high time, the traction of this train to get changed from Diesel to Electric. Hopefully, they can convert right at LONDA Jn itself or else UBL is already serving LC point for others.

Tinaighat to CLR electrification hone ke baad they will shift loco change of both Amaravati and JSME VSG to CLR. Also in next 6 months Kulem to Madgaon will also become electrified. Majorda to VSG is the only stretch where electrification has not even started but is only 17kms which can be done in 3 months. Also i have seen in YouTube video electric poles in the Ghat section.
But it's high time now Amaravati express gets its SF status back as entire GTL LD route is FEDL now and MPS upgraded to 110 in some section. Also they have slowed down Amaravati by 1 hour after it was restored post covid lockdown.
