During this, demands were made to upgrade Gwarighat railway station, connect Mandla with Bilaspur and Nagpur railways. On the demands of the MPs, the GM talked about sending the Railway Board level works to the ministry for approval. General Manager Alok Kumar, while giving information about the development works at the headquarters level out of all the suggestions and development works taken in the meeting, assured to make every effort to complete the works and send the board level works to the ministry for approval. He apprised about the development of infrastructure of Indian Railways, the struggle made by the Railways during the Corona period, developmental works, electrification, gauge conversion, infrastructure, continuous increase in freight shipments, among others.
