The divisional committee meeting of Ranchi and Chakradharpur Railway Division of South Eastern Railway was held on Wednesday at a hotel in Rourkela. In the meeting, eight MPs from Odisha and Jharkhand were apprised of the problems associated with the railways in their area. In the meeting, the MPs strongly raised the issue of early commencement of operation of passenger trains for the convenience of the common people. He said that the people are suffering a lot due to non-operation of passenger trains. MP Power selection Mahato proposed a number of demands including extension of Tata-Danapur express train to Buxar, two days a week to Urbanmar-Gorakhpur and restoration of new train service between Tata Bengaluru, Tata-Bhagalpur, Tata-Jayanagar, tata-Chhapra and Tata-Katihar link from tata-tata. Sundargarh MP Jual Oram proposed the demands for starting operation of several new trains and extension of several trains to Rourkela. Oraon said that a number of proposals have been given and they have been asked to be completed.
