Agree with you being railfans love to travel in train but st the same time we should agree others modes of transport are fast catching up with train like public and private bus road transport, personal car and Air and railways is not keeping pace with the growth. Of late from past 16 years I have been traveling in bus all over south India and seen great improvement in road, bus conditions and moreover they have convenient pickup and drop points as cities are growing multidimensional and they are improving and increasing supply as per traveller demand. I prefer bus and train as per my requirement at that point of time and place of traveling with budget. The moment I board a train or bus gets glued to window and enjoy nature calculating the arrival of next station and speed. Here in this case Bangalore Mysore the residents of Malleswaram...

YPR Rajajinagar Central and Northern SBC prefer train while the people around 3km radius particularly south Bangalore Banashankari and areas around ORR prefer Bus as they need not travel all the way to SBC and travel time will be the same taking reaching time to SBC boarding ticketing etc.
