Being an SER train and starting from Howrah, for god's sake why this train skips big cities and districts like Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Cuttack but makes a halt at Kalupara Ghat Passenger halt station?
Any idea who on earth proposed this kind of halt distribution for this train, considering the Inaugural run, I think it was Ms. Mamta Banerjee as the RM during that time.
What is so special in Kalupara Ghat?

The train patronage is good. As there are more general coaches(5-7) occupancy is less as compared to other trains. It will be good if extended to Bangalore with 22 could aches LHB.

Useless extension.
North Odisha people still prefer Falaknuma express and East coast express only. Vishaka express will be our last option if at all required to travel to Hyderabad or Vijayawada.
Similarly, prashanti express is having perfect timings from Bhubaneswar as we north Odisha people easily take the numerous overnight trains and buses to Bhubaneswar in which getting reserved seats is easier due to short distance journey and board the prashanti express.

and Bengal have sufficient trains for Bangalore and Hyderabad.
No extensions of Vishaka and Prashanti needed.

See i have travelled in Prashanti exp once from Bhubaneswar to Banglore. It starts from Bhubaneswar only and it is ECOR train and gets good passenger. Why is it will be extended to SER? Is it correct information you got? If your information is correct then bad decision by ECOR.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
