Thank you for the correction. Yes, there were 3 trains. The 1961 TT had only two trains and I jumbled it up with 1971, when the GC was done.
The 207/208 was initially named 'Deccan express', later as 'Karnataka express' and then as 'Kittur express', before being renamed as 'Rani Chennamma express' after GC.

more... 203/204 didn't have any particular name. It was replaced with a faster train with the same number, named as 'Mahalakshmi express' in 1977. It continued with the same name until it was stopped during GC. It was also diverted to Mangalore in the late 80's. After GC, a new Bangalore-Bombay train was started roughly with the same schedule, and was later renamed 'Chalukya express.
