Preferably HOG capable LHB coaches. With a WAP7 attached, drawing power from the OHE, it will be sufficient to run all the electrical systems.
Since we don't have many HOG capable rakes, alternatively, spare ICF coaches from various CDO's can also be used. Many, if not most stations have power outlets to charge the batteries and power ICF coaches in case of a failure in the self-generating system, or to power the coach while it is stationary at the station. These can be used to power the coach and the electrical systems required for the hospital facilities.
We...
more... need all the help we ca get. Even one single bad day can result in tens of thousands of cases (The USA alone had ten thousand cases yesterday - with our population density, an outbreak can be even worse).
We need not modify all the rakes. At least 10 rakes can be modified and kept ready for use.
In the worst case, some trains will have to run with spare coaches or be cancelled for a while after this whole thing passes. That is a small price to pay.
