On Monday 23 March 2020 passengers were travelling in Goods train seating in the Guard brake from Vardaman to Howrah. When the Train crossed Dhanbad station station master of that station spot the passengers and informed the next station. Goods Guard of that Goods train were suspended because of the passengers travelling in the Guard brake.
The Guard brake of the goods train going towards Gaya with an iron rod was packed with passengers. The laborers who came to Dhanbad on a freight train told that they were in Vardaman. They have to return home due to the work being stopped. All are residents of Gaya and Koderma, they are not getting vehicles to go beyond Dhanbad. Because of this issues all the passengers has to travel in Goods train.

Railway said action will be taken against the passengers who all were travelling in Guard brake.

When questions asked by Senior DCM Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, he told that the Goods train was coming from Asansol Railway division and all the passengers were boarded from their itself. The train didn’t stop at Dhanbad Railway station because no halt was given to the train. When the passengers were appeared in the Guard brake the train was immediately stopped at next station. Railway has appeal from the passengers that they should not travel in this way otherwise a legal action will be taken on them.

All the Guards have been ordered to stop people from travelling in the goods train. If the passenger does not agree, immediately inform the control room. RPF will take action against such people who all are travelling in the Guard brake. Dhanbad Railway Division PRO PK Mishra said that the guard of the on duty concerned goods train has been suspended.
