Connectivity within Karnataka Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 Cities is poor, and assumption means, if a train is launched in Blore means, karnataka's wish is fulfilled. Whether it runs within karnataka or outside doesnt matter.
The sentences of GM mentioning look for alternative transportation for next 4 to 5 years is not good way I think.. He took someone's comment or complaint on SWR very serious it seems. Railways run passenger trains as a charity? I think the operational cost is more than the running profit of these trains.. For which increase in ticket prices should be done so that at least railways can gain 3/4 th return from the expenses of operational cost.

When it comes to land acquisition in SWR territory for NL/DL, thats where most of delays are happening, because state govt. purposefully delays land acquisition all the time. When land is already acquired, construction pace of SWR is pretty good compared to other zones.
Hoping so, he recently gave status of all major rail works across IR in Parliament, and also he is pushing hard for Bengaluru Suburban Railway.
