Now it will get start difficult to get tickets between CBE and TVC and the reverse since the TN Govt has decided to increase the road tax between the borders which got started to affect the people going in vacations from Kerala to TN.
I dont think so. Road tax and others, do they effect people moving on roads? Did the vehicles reduce even after increasing petrol and diesel prices? Too early to worry.
The mostly hurted ones will be the bus lobies who has now to pay 650 per seat instead of 320 earlier. With 650, one can easily travel from TVC to MAS in train :) Now hope to see some rush in the trains linking MAS - TVC, MAS - ERS, MAS - MAQ
Pradyu... Road tax for pvt busses is calculated on a seat basis. So for example if a volvo bus has 56 seats the road tax is calculated based on say INR 2000 per seat (this is the rate in maharashtra) so total tax per bus = 56 x 2000
Now the increased charge from TVC to MAS will be in AC SLEEPER Bus to be 1500 where as in 12624, AC 3 tier will cost you 1126, Second AC slightly increasin to 1600.
