Delhi metro is doing Monopoly business....public transport poor in Delhi compared to other metro cities...so Metro the only reliable public transport there so they r doing Monopoly with high ticket prices and no control by Central and state government on it. Delhi metro is Central and State government both are equal holders there. Both together in Delhi metro but see Rs 50 ticket prices in metro... anybody doing daily travel in max slab route will cost Rs 100 per day just metro fare too much..... after metro take auto/ bus any other transport to reach office or home from metro stn is an extra cost addition to Rs 100 per day.
The credits of cheap price goes to Indian Railways...as it is only metro under IR...all regulations done by Rail Board... They keep price low...and services are also low standard. Very neglected rapid transit of India... ICF sending all faulty rakes, as if Noapara carshed is a Railway Museum! Even the rake received at Noapara carshed this week had a defect! ICF forgot to properly shorten the cattleguard!
East west metro rakes r not from ICF....these r good modern rakes..if KMRC can operate and maintain these rakes properly it will be good for passengers. Hopeful on EW metro
