Barddhaman/Durgapur route is oversaturated now...nearly all trains running late in that section....even high profile trains like SDAH Duronto gets late between ASN and Dankuni..actually controlling by ER is not very good..if you see ER has less freight traffic than SER, ER has both main and chord lines between BWN and HWH, EMU locals running in chord line of ER is in less no than HWH-KGP section of SER, but still you see most of trains except Rajdhanis in ER is getting late between ASN-BWN-HWH/SDAH section...SER i think with 3 nos of lines between SRC-KGP section and huge nos of goods trains, with express and pgr trains controlling is quiet good.....but after 4th line till dankuni gets completed then it will be possible may be....
