Rather re introducing this flopped concept.
Dhanbad should have come up with :-
1. Viable Alternative to Black Diamond express. A fast intercity with a TT like a Janshatabdi from Gaya/Dhn to Sdah/hwh would be a massive hit.
2. Try to restore order in it's house! Rather coming up with unrealistic proposals Dhanbad should ensure hassle free and quick loco reversals at Gomoh....

Build a byepass to Patherdih and run local trains upto KGP/TATA/ADRAfrom here. There is huge unrealized passenger potential between PRR/ BQA to DHN.Everything can't be served on a similar platter by SER, similarly every ECR based local services should not be serving only Bihar. If not anything many Odisha originating train would get a shorter and faster path by joining the GC at DHN then at GMO.
3. Ensure that the land acquisition process for the new DC line is quickly completed and built the new route as realistically quickly as possible.
4. Run local trains to Bokaro/Ranchi/Tata/Jasidih etc. Intra state local connectivity is so much better in other states but pathetic in jharkhand.
5. Take the non cooperative ECR headquarters at HJP to ransom. Dhanbad earns more than all other divisions in ECR combined. It should have more of a say in ECR's lobby. Threaten strikes and hartals if demands are not met. Think of the inconvenience faced by the passengers rather filling up your pockets! Learn from the employees at HWH/SDAH .
Frankly speaking once even I used to have high expectations from dhanbad. But now I have none.
Dhanbad division and ECR as a whole are highly incompetent bodies!
