yes section until Lokapur /Mudhol not Open they will not run train it seems. Chikkabenakal also keeping in view of Gangavathi in future they running else tht would also not possible..

The electrification of Erode-Karur-Tiruchirapalli and Salem-Karur-Dindigul should be changed to 150 now. Because on 2nd and 3rd February CRS will be conducted for Erode-Karur-Trichy 140 kms. After that only Salem-Karur-Dindigul will be left. The work between Karur-Dindigul is in advance stage and is in fast pace. Also the work between Trichy-Thanjavur-Karaikal will get over by March 2019.

Gangavati must have been provided rail link till now. But unfortunately due to shortage of steel works have not progressed since Sept 17. Rail Link upto Chikkabenakal was opened for Ugadi 2017. Expected Gangavati link to be opened by Ugadi 18 and Kartagi & Sindanuru by Mar 19 & Mar 20 respectively. Hope works will resume soon _/\_

In karnataka Skyscraper city website I saw some on mentioned Allotted 400cr in 2018-19 budget for Gadag Hotgi 284km Doubling.
And also saw New Survey for Gadag Krishna via Naregal Gajendragad Ilkal Lingasur finally ppl of Naregal and Gadag railway horat samithi made new line survey proposal after loosing Gadag wadi from these places.. both lines if come into reality then Lingasur will be junction point for both intersections..
