Train was emptied of passengers, so I think it's quite possible to move the train.
Plus from next time please explain the full thing otherwise people (including me) could think that your profile is fake, as fake profiles use this technique to heat up debates.

It's quite possible. There is very little friction between steel wheels and steel rails and this makes it far more easier to push/pull things on rails than on road. For a long time shunting operations used to be done manually by pushing wagons and coaches.
