* The study and feasibilty of Konkan Railway was established with Manglore port being part of it, and later on IR/SR backed from conceding the Manglore to KR because it will reduce the earning of SR. This is not a good practice and detrimental to the future development of Railway infrastructure in India. This has resulted in lot of hardships to KR, and it can survive by inflating the disatnce.
* Tomorrow, WR, NWE, WCR, NR, NER, ER may refuse to shift their profit giving freight trains to DFC and DFCCIL may face the music as repayment of loans for DFC shall be jeopardised.
