* Talgo train results with just 130M long coaches is not 100% applicable for 500M+ (4 times) long Talgo train to carry same number of passengers. 4 times long Talgo train is unlikely to give same result.
* Cost of Talgo coaches is multiple time of LHB coaches, (it was reported that as unofficially communicated by Talgo officials, one coach is likely to cost around 6-7 crores) the ticket fare have to be much higher to make up for the cost.
* Talgo train is with chair-car coach which will not be useful...

* Even if the Talgo train is modified with provision of berths instead of seats.Lower height of coaches shall lead to uncomfortable ACIII berths.
* Trials similar to talgo trials with just 5 LHB coaches (Same length as Talgo trial train) must be done to have real comparision of the journey time/ avg speed of LHB vs Talgo.
* Talgo trials with a 528M (22 coach LHB) should be done to ensure that the longer train could do the journey as fast as the smaller trial train.
* 100 Cr Rs spent in Talgo trail is not a valid justification for further spending Rs. in 1000s of crores for the introduction of Talgo trains in IR. For cash strapped IR expenditure of Rs. 1000s of crores for Talgo trains should be done only if they will be able to keep cost per seat just marginally higher than the cost with LHB coaches. Else it will ultimately turn out to be a financial disaster.
* Total bypassing the member traffic and overriding the remarks/resistance by financial commissioner is not a good indication and appears ominous.
* Bypassing the tender process for procurement give ample of room for kickbacks & corruption, which RM shall not like to go for.
