They should divert 12629 and 22685 via PUNE-BRC-KOTA, it is currently unnecessarily slow in the MRJ-NZM sector, this makes its running time exceptionally long and therefore poorly serves UBL. It saves 2 reversals at PUNE and DD as well. It will make the train reach NZM at same time as 12649 and improve end to end patronage. Also it reduces fog effect since it is not so severe in this route via BRC-KOTA. Wrote this to SWR in pgportal, but they denied diverting and gave same reply as yours.
Instead of rerouting 12649, a new SF train on the YPR-SVDK premium route should be started which will serve BAY to NDLS.

more... is now serving the capital of karnataka well in form of a non premium connection to NDLS along with KK, therefore its diversion will end up being a loss for karnataka itself, its quotas can be changed so that maximum is for end to end passengers.
Frequency of swarna jayanti express MYS-NZM can be increased and if possible go via BJP to give MYS a direct connection to BJP than Gol gumbaz via SBC.
It would be great if these demands are also taken up.
