This train must have a stop at Kollam.If this train has many stops in Karnataka,Goa,Maharashtra,Gujarat,Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan,why this train has no stops in Kerala?This is not Kerala Rajdhani.
Many factors go into decision making process for halts. Instances also suggest that purely commercial stops are monitored by the Rlys based on passenger turnout and accordingly stops are either getting added or removed. There are some stops serving both commercial and technical purposes and hence inevitable. Some more stops in Goa, Maharashtra, may be bcoz the train passes through Konkan Route and hence Joint decision by IR & KRC.
