Best thing on DMRC. Rarely u see fights turning ugly or fights at all. On road well road rage a term coined for Delhi, best roads ,best expletives if u dare take a wrong turn. Even in massive crowds people tend to be cool thanks to AC.

Delhi was one of the best executed projects in our country[thanks in part to its head E Shreedharan]. It was due to its success that large number of Metro services blossomed out in various parts of the country.

All metro cities except delhi have the one of the best MRTS in form of local trains. (best only in terms of connectivity not comfort). Delhi has one which is hardly used NZM-HNZM parikrama. DMRC the very own MRTS which is costly (comparing with Daily. Monthly,Quarterly passes avl on local memu leading high operational losses.) ensures services on metro good & consistent. best thing rich or poor u pay the same and it is difficult to use DMRC and escape without paying for it (i.e Without token or smart card). Closed doors add security and AC adds the comfort.

Metro wins anyday over suburban systems since it is completely safe[people die regularly on other suburban transportation systems]. Delhi does lack a suburban system[no dedicated tracks or stuff; their frequency is much lower than Mumbai or Kolkata ones]. The Ring Rail is a failure. Metro may be costly but provides better comfort and safety.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
