REGULATION OF TRAIN SERVICES FOR NI WORK AT HOOGHLY GHAT STATION FOR CONNECTING NEW JUBILEE BRIDGE

April 11, 2016:
For connecting the New Jubilee Bridge, Non-Interlocking Work (NI Work) will continue at Hooghly Ghat station o­n Bandel-Naihati section for 6 days from 14 to 19 April, 2016. Consequently there will be some cancellation/diversion of trains running through this section during this period.
However, Eastern Railway has made special arrangements for maintaining some services in Bandel-Naihati section.
Arrangement of EMU Passenger Special Trains:
Passenger Special EMU trains will be run between Bandel & Naihati during the period of NI Work for the convenience of the passengers. Nine (9) pairs of EMU Passenger Special trains will be run between 5:00 hrs. & 24:00 hrs. o­n 14.4.2016, 10 pairs of EMU specials will be run between 00:00 hrs. & 24:00 hrs. o­n 15, 16, 17 & 18 April, 2016 and 7 pairs of EMU special trains will be run between 00:00 hrs. to 18:00 hrs. o­n 19.4.2016.
Aarrangement for running some long distance trains via Bandel-Naihati route:
53135 Up Sealdah-Rampurhat Fast Passenger, 13141 Up Sealdah-Haldibari Teesta Torsa Express, 13163 Up/13164 Dn Hatey Bazare Express, 13153 Up Sealdah-Malda Town Gour Express will run Via Naihati-Bandel from 14 to 19 April, 2016. 13106 Dn Ballia-Sealdah Express & 13142 Dn Haldibari-Sealdah Teesta Torsa Express will be run via Bandel-Naihati during the period (except o­n 14.4.2015 for diversion via Dankuni) .

Following rearrangement in train running will be made for NI work:
Cancellation of local trains
a)All scheduled Up & Down Bandel-Naihati EMU locals will remain cancelled from 00:00 hrs. of 14.4.2016 to 18:00 hrs. of 19.4.2016.
b)One pair of Bandel-Naihati local (37558/37557) will remain cancelled o­n 13.4.2016.
c)73151 Up/73152 Dn Sealdah-Jangipur DEMU Passenger, 31111 Up/31112 Dn Sealdah-Katwa local & 31151 Up/31152 Dn Sealdah-Barddhaman local will remain cancelled from 14 to 19 April, 2016.
N.B. Garifa station will remain closed from 17 April to 26 April, 2016 for regardering work and no train will stop at Garifa during the period.
Cancellation of long distance trains
a)13185 Up Gangasagar Express will remain cancelled ex Sealdah from 14 to 19 April and the corresponding down train (13186 Dn) will remain cancelled ex Jaynagar from 13 to 18 April, 2016.
b)13131 Up Kolkata-Anand Vihar (T) Express will remain cancelled ex Kolkata station from 14 to 19 April and the corresponding down train (13132 Dn) will remain cancelled ex Anand Vihar from 12 to 17 April, 2016.
c)12383 Up/12384 Dn Sealdah-Asansol Intercity Express will remain cancelled from 14 to 19 April, 2016.
d)13187/13188 Dn Seladah-Rampurhat Express will remain cancelled from 14 to 19 April, 2016.
e)13145 Up Kolkata-Radhikapur Express will remain cancelled ex Kolkata from 14 to 19 April and the corresponding down train (13146 Dn) will remain cancelled ex Radhikapur from 13 to 18 April, 2016.
f)53139 Up/53140 Dn Kolkata-Chittaranjan-Jasidih Passenger will remain cancelled from 14 to 19 April, 2016.
Besides, some Up & Down Mail/Express and Passenger trains scheduled to be run via Bandel-Naihati route will be diverted via-Dankuni with stoppage at Kamarkundu for this NI-Work.
