It is not a loss.I think each train loss around 1to 2lakh.More subsidy have to be provided for the sub urban services which is the life line of Metros and boost the industrial production. All the sub urban fares should be kept in this level only so as the passenger patronages increased .The per passenger km of the electric trains are economic and environmental friendly and save national energy. Please we think of all the Metro passenger utilized 2wheeler/car , the energy consumption ( diesel /Petrol) are very very huge.
