The farmers should be punished and penalised for causing so much inconvenience to general public and loss to railways, who have no concern for their crop loss. State govt should also be held responsible for getting the whole issue delayed and unable in removing them from railway tracks. Railways have already been used as a blackmailing point for these farmers.

I have deep respect for farmers and their community but to block a national lifeline for a state subject is pure exhibition of illiteracy on their part. Its a fancy these days to stop trains or do rail rokos for what ever be the issue be it personal problem, state problems, caste or reservation problems. The railways should recover rs 100 crores from the state govt for failing to provide a safe passage to trains and this norm should be well established and implemented for all future rail rokos.

It might hold true that the babus r not listening to their worries but that doesn't mean they do a rail roko n get away freely.

They should rather be protesting outside the minister's residence and other places. By troubling general public and blocking rail traffic is a sheer blackmail and non sense move. The politicians have NO Worry as they can easily move about, restrain or black their move instead.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
