Please note due to restrictions from Commissioner of Safety -- Railways and HMRDA only one passenger train can run in the night between Sakleshpur and Subramanya Road. HMRDA is not ready to give permission to run an additional passenger train in night. As per the deal with HMRDA max 4 passenger train can run between Sakhleshpur and Subramanya Road. Even after opening of Hassan Nelamangala line it will not make any effect. Untill HMRDA agree which chances are very bleak no additional trains can run in the night. The only possibility is by doubling the line which is very expensive between Sakhleshpur -- Subramanya Road then more trains can run in the night.
HMRDA wants to make money since it is PPP...
more... and contract is for 20 years. They want to run more Goods train and earn revenue. Contract expires on2026.
