It's a JS only in name. The average is worse than that of Purnagiri JS, at a paltry ~37 kph. Even EMU trains in many regions run faster than this.
These 2 VBs are final but they'll start from December is a big doubt. I've asked some officials and they said that this can postpone after December. Everything is upto RB.
Are these VB sitting version? Can be completed in 8hrs time or they will have full day schedule? How are they feasible. It has become viral trend to demand VB and post it in Twitter for BJP MPs without going into ground reality.

Many of the vb trains mentioned there are fake according to the reporter. We got a complaint hence deleted
They are many other bloggers who reported the same list of VB. Delete them too.
The train can be ran as KSR-Vasco panchaganga express. It really need to be extended. Needless to say it would be a connectivity not just for Bangalore people but also for chennai people if we could catch this by taking intercity or something. Vasco is also in SWR so this train could be extended easily

Your opinion about Talguppa holds good. Almost Decade back, when Panchganga was non-existent & 16523/24 were running, Myself commuting to Blore from Kumta use to go to Talguppa & take 16228 to reach Blore faster & vice~versa. Even People from Byndoor/Kundapur taluks would do same.
Regarding connecting train to 16511, My opinion would be better to swap slots of 16511 with 16585, such that 16585 starts early from Blore take 16511 slot from Hassan, arrive early at Mlore & leave early towards Murudeshwar. That would also mean early arrival at Murudeshwar &...

It makes sense to have a look at revising the slot of 16585/86 or facilitating an RSA with Vasco Exp to find a more optimum schedule for it. As it stands, there is scope to slot in one more train between 16511/12 and Panchaganga.
16515/16 has the same 14 coaches as Panchaganga, and the difference of 3 hrs in runtime end-to-end is definitely not doing it justice. Certain stops upto Hassan could be reassigned to 11311/12.

We won't allow it as simple as that. Its train of Coastal and will be same. We are planning and almost near to make RSA of 16585 with 17309. But Panchaganga is Karwar Bangalore train via PadeelBypass
Well its already running till Madgoan lol. Formally , it stands in Karwar only for 5 mins, Sharp 08:30 the same train leave towards Madgoan and does leave Goa till 16:30 evening. Check RSA pattern.

And RSA is not single train , Matsyagandha reaches MAQ and travel till TVC with other number does it mean same train huhahhaah!!!
