Vertical lift matlab ..bridge ko ek jagah se open kar sakte hai ...ship jane ke liye....aur phir se close kar sakte hai..after ship passes thru.
Pic me dekh sakte ho kaise open hota hai.
Similar is at Kochi but ab woh open nahi karte hai. its from British time.
