Rai Bareilly from Prayagraj. Comfort is the ONLY reason this train is getting any sort of patronage.
Even I'd do the same if I'm traveling with my family or even alone. 3A is basically Sleeper, Sleeper is basically General, 2A is basically new 3A so where does one go who wants comfort ? Not everyone is looking for Cheap alternative.
Just 3days ago I had made a booking on AC First of New Delhi Mumbai AC Duronto. I had to travel to Mumbai on August 13th with my Mother and both WR Tejas Rajdhani Trains have WL in in AC First.
Flights at premium timings are cheaper between these two Cities.
CR rajdhani had seats available but I'd take it during return.
There's a stark contrast between need and want.

Travelers in Pune Mumbai have all sorts of much more comfortable options for all price ranges available every 10 minutes- still that route fills up 5 Executive Chair Car Coaches on a Daily basis costing at least twice than the next best comfortable option.
People on this route want something similar on a waaaaay smaller scale....

I'm from Rewa. I know the blowback of having rare AC Options because people there ACTUALLY want to travel cheaper than comfortable.
