Definitely Bengaluru needs a VB. I thought we would get some importance since elections are coming up, but IR and BJP are a little more focused on Hubballi right now. No issues, same state only. Hope we also get something later.

This one (4th) was originally allocated to SWR/Bengaluru and the next one (5th) was allocated to SR/Chennai.
Now the 4th one has been diverted to NR, so I don't know if the rest will stay in south India or again be taken by NR. SR can lobby and get one, but SWR will most likely just get ignored.

Honestly true. Demands for a fast, dependable train from Bengaluru to Mumbai still go unheard. And now no train to Delhi via DMM KCG except the weekly Kongu.

So this premium, luxurious terminal will receive the dirtiest and lowest priority trains from zones like NFR, ECR, SR and SER.
While SBC (which doesn't even have enough platform shelters) will take care of all the premium trains. Nice logic by SWR.
