If Katwa Bypass is completed then Azimganj, Katwa route will get south India connection as it can link both HB Chord & HB Main line

I'm wondering special trains bhi via PNBE hi kyu chalate hain why not via KG line? us section walon ko 4 trains dekar chhod diya hai. connectivity is important. distance more or less same hi rahega NDLS se BGP ka via GAYA NWD KIUL bhi
DDU se KIUL tak same distance via GAYA or via PNBE bt DNR div ko koi fark nhi padta h usake liye KG line nhi h savi train ko via PNBE DDU hi chalayega.. Ye to achha h KG line me jo exp train chal rhi h wo ER zone ka h ECR ka sirf passanger train chalti h wo v 5-6 hrs 124 KM me leti h.isase achha DDU / DHN div ya fir ER zone kr deta
idhar BGP ke kuch rail fans ko ECR pasand hai bolte hain ER se achha ECR me chale jate.. DHN ko 2004 se 2024 ke bich kitni trains diya hai ECR wo nahi dekh rahe
