The metro is all set for Trial runs from 1st December 2016 to 25 March 2017..chabge in plans for flag off the metro will take trial in Transport nagar-Mavaiya Section right away from 1st December...

Lucknow Metro Got awarded 'Best Metro for Excellence in Innovative Designs' at 5th Annual Metro Rail Summit in New Delhi. It competed against the other metro projects of the country like Delhi Metro, Mumbai Metro, Jaipur Metro etc. click here
U-Girders have been placed on entire stretch from Amausi to Mawaiya Station(excl.Awadh Crossing's Spcl Span)..OHE poles have been properly fixed till Awadh Crossing from Amausi(dont know if ahead)....Work in full swing for special span over Mawaiya Railway Bridge...aftr Mawaiya the U-Girders have been completely placed till Charbagh...while contruction...

of pillars has gone beyond Charbagh Metro Station..Krishna Nagar Station tops with fastest work, work for erecting shed will begin shortly while ac ducts other electrical equipments and finishing work is in full swing...the connecting track between coaching depot and AMausi is also nearly completed..

Progress Report of #LucknowMetro from Krishna Nagar Metro station to Charbagh....
U-Girders have been completely placed on route from Amausi to AVADH Hospitl(Pic. 1)..then a gap of two Pillars, then till Alambagh Chauraha(Pic.2)...then a curve is left umcovered with girders just before Alambagh Metro Statn(Pic.4,5)..tyhen again from Alambagh Metro Station U-Girders have been placed uptill Mavaiya Metro Station(Pic. 3,6)..then from Mavaiya Metro Station Pillars have been erected only being the most behind schedule(not really compared to schedule but according to other fastened works)then on from Durgapuri Metro Station to Charbagh Metro Station Pillar have been erected with Support Beams...The work is expected and will really complete in RECORD TIME..work is going on in 200% full swingg...Connecting Stairs have been also erected...

on various stations like Krishna Nagar, Charbagh Station(although LJN NER has given its Parking area to LMRC fir its erection). OHE POLES have been erected from Amausi upto Avadh Chauraha also tracks have been laid on that section, with huge number of tracks completely ready to be laid, lying under them. Erection of Special Span over Mavaiya,has taken place completely on charbagh side one, while alambagh side one is still under final touches.All Stations are having work done on their Second Floor, i.e. the floor that will have PF and rly line...Krishna Nagar Metro Station has beams erected for erecting PF Sheds and has got its ends sealed and the U girders have been connected to them....

In Recent PC,Mr. E Shreedharan said that Metro will start running by November, 2016 only, completing its all work Before time, adding that all works are running well ahead of Scheduled time.
