Getting RSA is totally different. You can see many in that format. for Example in TN KL we have CBE NCJ ONT train RSA NCJ QLN passenger train. Nobody objects it but if proposal comes to merge both and make it as CBE QLN. It might face severe resistance. Same applies for Zone formats in operational issue. Chennai Salem we have lot of trains but Dharmapuri is just 60 kms from Salem. Just because of different zones i,e SWR and SR issue. we dont have single train Dharmapuri from chennai. Same type Chennai Chitoor we dont have single train even though plenty pass through kadpadi. SCR SR issue+ AP TN. Like wise panchaganga RSA can go as karwar madgoan/Vasco. direct merging might be tough. madgoan vaso how much SWR will accept is again question mark.
