The station director, Arun Kumar, confirmed that these measures are in place to avoid traffic congestion around Patna Junction, potentially hindering passengers from catching their trains. Trains coming from Kolkata, such as the Akaltakht Express and the Howrah New Delhi Rajdhani Express, will have a brief five-minute stoppage at both Rajendra Nagar and Danapur stations. The Patna Varanasi Kasi Intercity will commence from Danapur only. Other trains, including the 15657 Kamakhya, 12328 Upasana, 13006 Punjab Mail, and 12334 Vibhuti Express, will also have a five-minute stoppage at Danapur and Rajendra Nagar terminals.
