that while some trains had temporary halts during the Shravani Mela in the month of Sawan, to accommodate devotees, five specific train pairs, including the Ernakulam Express (18189 Up/18190 Down), Kalinga Utkal Express (18477 Up/18478 Down), Shalimar LTT Express (18030 Up/18029 Down), Ahmedabad Superfast Express (12834 Up/12833 Down), and Howrah CSTM Express (12870 Up/12869 Down), were not being given stopovers despite previously having them. The MP requested the DRM to consider the issue and grant stopovers for these trains immediately. The drive involved commercial inspectors, chief ticket inspectors, and TTE staff who inspected several trains between Bilaspur, Champa, and Bhatapara stations, including the Bilaspur and Uslapur stations. The pantry car of the 12834 Howrah-Ahmedabad Express was also inspected, checking the medical certificates, identity cards, cleanliness, and fire extinguishers of the pantry staff. Additionally, five unauthorized vendors were apprehended at Bilaspur station, resulting in a ₹4,090 fine. One vendor was fined for lacking a medical certificate and identity card.
