Bhai, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar aur Madhya Pradesh mein Mumbai aur Delhi ke trains ke naam par Kai log chunaav jeet jaate hai. Railways has a major impact in these areas due to migration.
I've personally seen people supporting political parties in power when their place gets a new train or any sort of development/recognition from Indian Railways.
Believe it or not the number of trains given to Uttar Pradesh in the last Assembly Elections did have a major impact on BJP winning Uttar Pradesh with clear majority.
