this is taking 42 Mints more time than ICE from GNT to SC. can be speeded up more.
I reaching BT mostly let see it might get speeded up, possibly additional slack given based on some many arrivals in morning line up...
Even now its under Priority thats why reaching BT if you see the runs mostly its reaching by 5:30 AM...
Yes, i think we SCR should stop calling it a Duranto,. It should be called AC superfast instead. Having a halt at RJY and bypass bza is an ideal for a duranto. It will have it's best occupancy and also help the availability in AC coaches of other trains.

UTTARANDHRARAILSEVA~ 1840 blog posts22203/ 22204 VSKP SC VSKP Duronto Exp is a very good Overnight Exp between VSKP and SC. It has sufficient occupancy . It should be made a daily as early as possible for the benefit of passengers. Railway will also have good Revenue by running this train as it allows a limited number of Railway privilege pass holders .
Still there is demand for overnight trains between VSKP and SC and vice versa. In the event of Duronto Exp being made a Daily ,the service of GARIB RATH can be extended up to PSA/ CHE/VZM to serve the Garibs of Uttarandhra people.

You didn't answer my question , what were the timings when it was via KZJ ?
Train is faster by 15 minutes
Passenger won't care whether it is running on a single or double line , 120 or 110 . It is faster by 15 mins , isn't is better . Also it didn't had any halts between BZA SC, why to congest mainline unnecessarily

SCR could have easily diverted 02203/04 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad AC Duronto Special via Rayaupadu.
Now Warangal - Vijayawada track strength increased to 130.
And have made 02783/84 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad COVID - 19 AC Special Tri or 4 times week in Vskp - BZA- GNT- SC route

Previously it used to cover Vskp - Bza- SC in 9hr 30min with 68 as Average speed including LC now it
will take atleast 10 or 11 hours because of slack.
Route is short but slack is more.
